EWS Managed API How to get a property by its GUID and name

This sample shows you how to use the Exchange Web Services EWS Managed API to get a property by its GUID and name.

Extended properties enable Microsoft Exchange Server clients to add customized properties to items and folders that are stored in an Exchange mailbox. Custom properties can be used to store data that is relevant to an object.

Sample method:

The following method GetPropertyByGuidAndName accepts an instance of the ExchangeService class to connect to the Exchange Web Service.

In this method we retrieve the 5 first tasks found after we run a query through EWS Managed API that filters on the existence of the extended property 0x00008105 (the task due date property) .
